Shoreline Special Education PTSA

New Name! Our PTSA changed its name to the Shoreline Special Education PTSA. "Special education" is the legal term for instruction specially designed to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability, and we feel it is important to use respectful and inclusive language.

Legislative Advocacy Resources: PTA is an advocacy organization and as such provides helpful resources for you to advocate in a way that is meaningful and comfortable to you. There are several bills relating to Special Education before the Washington State Legislature right now such as HB1436 which calls for fully funding Special Education and the Shoreline SEPTSA membership voted to support this bill at the January 26, 2023 membership meeting
